colors are affected

hi friends.i made my own bootskin but the problem is i cant figured out how to convert it from 24 bit to 16 color bit without affecting the colors..is there anyway i can do this??? your help will be highly appreciated.if you want to see what i did you can send me a pm..thanks in advance..good day...

no matter how you look at it, it gonna affect the colors.
some programs do a different job at than others. try using different programs. irfanview does a pretty decent job (it's free) - but i think no matter what, once converted down, you will want to do a touch up.
