"Boxes" around cursor during games/3D rendering

Hi, I've had CursorXP for a long time and love my Starcraft cursor, but recently after just installing a newer graphics driver I have been having little boxes around my cursor during games and stuff. It's like it's trying to refresh but keeps the old stuff, kind of like a very fast blinking effect. I even tried turning my refresh rate up to 72khz with no effect. Can anyone help?
