I don't normally watch much TV, but a show on the making of the Alien movie caught my attention for its reference to H R Giger and his artworks Apart from one piece that someone had turned into a wallpaper, I knew nothing about this great artist so did a search and came up with this site.....familiar with Giger's art or not, it's worth a look.

BTW, the making of 'Alien' is currently showing on Foxtel's Showtime network for those interested in the Giger connection.

Hey! I'm just an old fart who is still intimidated by computers


Me too....bit hard reconciling modern technology with someone whose most up to date calculator at school was an abacus :LOL And my recent luck with computers is equivelant to being caught in a deluge of money and getting washed down the gutter with a rubber cheque/check My intimidation = wrong command = possible $2000+ crash vs crashed calculator = $10 Oh well, perseverance and patience.

... but was in the wrong queue and ended up with an extra bowel instead. Never did get what the wife was implying there

Oh well, off now to figure out this smiley trick
