overlay problems with tv-software

I added an icon for my win tv application (Hauppauge WinTV Nexus) to the ObjectDock. When I start it by clicking it, the application starts as normal without any errors. But the overlay picture is not to be seen. Just the audio. When I change to full screen, the TV picture is fine, but returning to window mode it disappears again. If I close the ObjectDock, the picture appears in the window as usual and remains even if I start the ObjectDock again. Any ideas how I can avoid closing and restarting the ObjectDock everytime I want to launch my TV appliction?

out of curiosity (ie it may not help you at all) do you have anything transparent in the top left corner of your desktop? like a dxobject or something with alpha blending? i mean the top left most pixel even. I have had problems with overlays in some vid applications not drawing if this top left pixel has something 'transparent' over it.

I have a problem that is very similar to yours.
Since i upgraded to Objectdock 1.20.520u i can't play mpg or vob files with PowerDVD without quiting the OD first. I had the rainlender in a transparent mode so i removed it but the problem is still there.

So STARDOCK what's wrong with this new version?
