We have internally figured out how to get a future version of WindowBlinds to supports Aero-Glass style title bars on Windows XP...

NO screenshots? No timeframe? Where did they go? Did everybody go home and leave it a cliffhanger?

Ha! Let's see if there's any doubt about WindowBlinds being the best now..

Good job, Guys!

Am I glad to hear this! I'd also like to know when us OD subscribers can get to "play" with this new skinning "toy". Can't wait. Next thing I'd like to see would be support for 32x32px toolbar icons...

i don't see what the excitement is about...

Earlier the comment said that your internal build supports it...why did you change the wording?

If you look back at that Longhorn screenshot, doesn't it look to you that those titlebars aren't simply transparent? They seems to be almost translucent - the text behind is really blurred as if it were actually being viewed through a pane of thick glass or something.

Will WB do that?

The yranslucent start panel in WB does that so why shouldnt the titlebars? :o)

Eh, I'd rather see some more information than just a sentence. Remember "internally" you got the ObjectDock to do the Genie effect. Now this? Are we actually going to see it soon or in the next year type thing?

Now if someone could do the impossible and get this @#%$ site to run properly. Its a complete and utter shambles and lots of paying customers have had a guts full.

Hello??? Time frame?? Screenshots?? Is this just a marketing tease for 2 years down the road?

You seem to be a bit uptight lately Boss019, take a chill pill brotha! If I had to take a wild guess, I'd say you will see parts of this in Windowblinds 5.0, which I believe is the next major version due out whenever Stardock releases it. You still have to go through beta's and all the rest. So, relax...worry more about what Microsoft is doing with Longhorn...and how many features it announces...then cancel's...then adds again...then...you get the idea.

First off Hus, why would I care one bit what Microsoft is doing with Longhorn? It will be what it will be and we will all use it and the majority of the people will bitch and moan and still use it. So why give it a second thought until it's out?
As far as this issue here, the title of the thread just screams at you. But there are no specifics AT ALL so far, so what's the point of it unless they can give at least SOME information? That's all I'm trying to get across. You get the idea?

I'm guessing Frogboy was just excited that they had finally managed it, and wanted to share with his customers what was coming. Who gives a damn if there are no specifics? You have to be in suspense for a while, boo-hoo.

I give a damn. When Microsoft does this, they're ripped for talking about vaporware.

I really don't see what the point is, if I'm not going to be able to use it. It would be like me saying I got Aero to work in msstyles, but only I can use it.

Mind you, I'm hoping that's not the case.
