Object Dock shuts down?

Help! Why is it?

Hello to all reading this post,

My problem is quite simple, but I dont have no idea how to solve it. In sporadic time-differences my Object Dock Bar shuts gown and I dont know why. It semms that the shuting down doesnt correspond with any action I take...Any suggestions?

That could have several reasons:

1.) Do you have any docklets running on the dock? If yes, remove one at a time and see whether the problem still occurs. The sysstats- and systray-docklets are the most common culprits.

2.) Do you have IconPackager 3 installed? Right now the newest version of IconPackager causes some problems with ObjectDock. Try uninstalling IP.

Well....I ran both. So I stoped them to observe the situation now. Thanks for help. Is there any chance to prevent these problems from appearing?

I went into IconPackager Menu to Tools and unchecked the Repair Shell Icons. It took care of problems I was having.

Object Dock is working just fine now.
