bootskin problems

i have downloaded bootskin and when i restart it with a skin it takes me to a blue screen saying that windows has shut down that application because it may cause harm to my computer. i have installed of bootskin and it is not working properly. i have a dell 1100 inspiron notebook. any help would be appreciated
