Have Blacks become professional victims?

Have Blacks become professional victims?

Denouncing poilitical correctness

While watching {for the hundreth time} news hashing over the handcuffing of the 5 year old black child, I was struck by one thing.

To a man/woman when the speaker is black the charge of racisim comes to the front lines, not a misjudgement, not poor training, because the cops were white, IT HAD TO BE RACIST BEHAVIOR.

While I agree that racisim and bigotry excist, NOT EVERY ACTION that has negative results is a form of racisim.

Since the advent of the civil rights act, blacks have learned that the one way to disarm a white person is to scream race, loud and often.
THE BLACK CRIMINAL ARRESTED BY A WHITE COP, screams racisim in the hopes of a reduced sentence or to be let off completely.

Jesse Jackson the man that could have taken Dr. kings place has chose instead to rape the whites of money in the name of reverse racisim. This behavior is ATRIBUTED to the climate of political correctness, that in my opinion is destroying america.

No longer can a man say to a woman "you look nice in that new dress" without worry of sexual harressmant charges.
No longer can a man like bill O'reilly say that he disagrees with the antics of sean penn {white} tim robbins {white} and danny glover {black} without glover calling bills comments Racist .

When will this end? never I say as long a political correctness holds sway in america.

Was the bahavior of the three cops bad judgement? yes. was it racist? hardly.

Now for anyone that wants to tackle me head on calling me some kind of racist I will gladly debate this < I know who I am, the bad and the good and racisim is not part of my make-up.

look kiddies... first off I am a turkish jew NOT WHITE... second I grew up in a ghetto {east harlem 121st between 2nd and 3rd ave} so while you all laying this suppossed knowledge of what poor people think or how they act from books you read I LIVED IT.
THE SAYING WHERE Zi GREW UP WAS THERE WAS 4 WAYS OUT OF THE GHETTO, YOU COULD "BALL" OUT {FOOTBALL, BASKETBALL ETC} you could"gangster" out you could "music " out or you could get carried out {dead} so please spare me your liberal bulldookey and you "I know best" attitude. neither you philo nor you dabe would have lasted 20 seconds where I grew up.

ANd that is also incorrect. In many cities it may be the case, but then that is usually because they make up a majority of the citizens. However, I have lived in many cities where the inner city poor were not minorities at all. As there were very few minorities who lived there.I will say that in this area, the inner city poor are black, but he suburb poor are white. And that has nothing to do with race, it is simply a matter of demographics. The city is mostly black, and the burbs mostly white.

Which was my point. There are all sorts of poor in all sorts of places.

The statement that was made inferred the fact I took exception to.

How can I be above the media they are wgat feeds us the so called news. If I want to stay abreast of current events where shoudI go?.

You go to the media for their version of the news. Does this mean that if what they post is irrational or one-sided, that is the only thing you can say, because they are your source?

You have opinions, man, and it's far too late to say that you don't. I can't believe that you would say something here and then defend it by saying "That's what the media told me, and I couldn't present the other side because they didn't either."

And this means something cuz only white people can make racist comments?

second I grew up in a ghetto {east harlem 121st between 2nd and 3rd ave} so while you all laying this suppossed knowledge of what poor people think or how they act from books you read I LIVED IT.

I've not said anything about what poor people think or how they act. Thanks for lumping me in with Dabe, though. Your paranoia's spreading.

so please spare me your liberal bulldookey and you "I know best" attitude. neither you philo nor you dabe would have lasted 20 seconds where I grew up.

What the hell do you know about me? I write articles and I respond to yours. What the hell do you know about where I could or couldn't survive or about what I can or cannot do? I'm willing to argue the topic with you, if you have any interest in staying on it. Don't bring me and my life, which you know nothing about, into this. Let me just point out that you sent this off topic and in my direction, and I'm telling you to lay off. If you keep coming, I don't want to hear anything about how I'm starting the personal attacks.

I assume you chose to live in the ghetto, right? Because that's the only bit of "liberal bulldookie" that I've offered. I said poor people don't choose to be poor. So, did you?

And I assume you would not have wanted any sort of help. You would have preferred to just be left in the ghetto, on your own, to find your own way out. That was my only other point, that we should help.

What awful points I make.

Huh?

No worries. My problem was with what LW inferred, and I should have made that more clear.

I saw this AFTER I posted my article on the topic. Seems I'm not the only one who feels as I do (didn't think so!)

I've not pointed anything out about you. I have never pretended to know anything about you. I attack your arguments and your statements. If you want me to come at you though, I'm more than happy to oblige.

Yeah, you must have missed the comment where I ended my interaction with Dr. Guy completely amiably. Read the responses!

OK, White guilt has been brought up, Hollering racist as a crutch has been introduced, and the plight of the impoverished minorities has been bandied about. So?

The crap of "extraodinary challenges" to escape poverty is a product of that white guilt, perpetuated by the very beauracracy that was originally developed to "Help", but which now relies on the impoverished to exist.

Coupled with that is a culture that views any signs of accepting those challenges as "selling out", or "acting white", no wonder, that nationally, black students under-perform in public schools, to do any different would be a repudiation of the race....

Qualifications for various assistance disallows the establishment of a nuclear family unit, rendering the stereotypical black male as a liability to the child and mother....
Gainful, and meaningful employment is also a disqualifer, whereas temp jobs and minimum wage allow one to continue on in the poverty level with full benefits such as housing, medicade, afdc, etc.....

I'm rehashing old post here, and I don't have the skill to link my previous articles on this subject, but you'll find them listed on my most read tab Titled "Social workers perpetuate poverty", and "The poor choose to be..."

On a more serious note, I won't be addressing anything else she says until she learns how to string a few sentences together without name calling and vile personal attacks.

Oh good. And does this mean you're not going to twist and spin my posts to suit your own twisted arguments?
Wouldn't that be loverly.......

I see you overlooked the fact that I disagreed with Dabe too, but whatever.

You invited me back to explain what I considered venomous.

I do not see the need for you to use all capital letters where you do. There is no point to it. It feels like you are yelling at me. I don't like it.

Your constant repetition of the word "black" on this article bothers me. Alot. I hope you were not aware that you were doing it, and I know that it's relevant because you are, after all, writing about Black people, but it just rubs me the wrong way. Maybe it's just me, because I'm a minority, but I really don't think so. I don't think anyone here would appreciate it if I decided to talk about the white kids who shoot up schools and the white parents who don't realize anything wrong because they're too concerned with their white friends and their white stylists and their white country clubs to see that their white kids are seconds away from
becoming white murderers. No one would appreciate me pointing out that white criminals often make up stories about minorities committing the crimes that, in fact, the white criminals committed in order to throw the white cops off the trail, and that a lot of those times the white cops believe it and make the investigation last a lot longer than it has to.

And another thing: Why are you only writing about Black people? There are members of all minorities that use racism as an excuse. There are Hispanics that do it. There are Asians that do it. Why single out Black people for your article? The tone of the article, as well as the exclusivity of the rant against Black people, makes me think that something happened to you before you posted this that pissed you off and set you off. I know the case that you site involves Black people, but if that's enough to set you off on this kind of rant, you really need to calm down, because the article really feels like you're holding a much more personal
grudge than just the news story.
