Crashes

Greetings,
I just purchased, downloaded, and installed Natural Desktop. I assume it's part of the stardock object network. Anyway, it always (including the first time I ran it) crashes immediately. It got so far as the backgroup changing and the weather thing appearing, then NaturalDesktop.exe 'encounters a problem and needs to close.' I'm a CS guy and I looked through the detailed info but nothing stands out. I uninstalled my video card (ATI 9800pro) and reinstalled with the newest drivers to no avail. Every other program under the sun works fine on my system (amd64 3200 blah blah) except for this one.
