How Do I Load Logon Studio Screen Zips Files?

Hi,

I realise that no official support for LogonStudio is given, but I have just downloaded it along with a selection of Logon Screen files that are in Zip format. Unfortuantly I cannot see a way to open them in LogonStudio which wants files in the *.logonxp format, which none of the zips files contains.

I know I had this working previously, but cannot get to the bottom of it this time.

Can some kind soul please put me out of my misery and tell me how to load the files?

Try renaming the *.zip file you downloaded to a *.logonxp file, then double-click the file to install it or click on the Load button in LogonStudio to browse and select the file.

Had a similar problem. This is what I did:

Unzipped the files with the Windows extractor
This creates a folder in a folder

. In the second folder you find all kinds of bitmaps and configuration files.
Anyhow, copy the second folder and place that in your logon Studio folder (where the welcome1, welcome2, etc folders are.
Bingo..now you can chose that logon screen.
(Sadly they never display in the way that they do in the screenshots of the downloads for me..something to do with me being on a german version?)
