Ok, if you have had uploading issues please try again. Make sure that are on the  www server and not the www2.  THough both should work I have put some debug code on the www server that will help be track what is going on.  If you experience a problem please post the name of the skin, the library and the problem you are experiencing in detail.

Our servers were probably still waiting on the data.  Because once the data has been received it only takes a couple of seconds to save the files and return the page back to you. 

Out of curiousity,  how much faster is the upload on the new site compared to the old site.   We process all the images and files in a background process on the new site where as the old site made you wait while we did all the processing (copying files to the servers).

Well, the JWood animation finally turned up in the library. The bad news is that it is not there in "My Skins", so I cannot ever update or delete it.

HELP!

I just got a new skin approved and all is fine except that I REALLY needed to tweak two things that I didnt notice until after the skin started to be downloaded. Now, the changes I made are ONLY to the uis file, and there are no changes to any graphics files at all. I needed to make the statusbarpane a teeny bit smaller and to change the content size on the toolbar icons - which make a HUGE difference in how the skin looks and works. What I need to do is UPDATE the FREDOS2005 skin, but only offer the users to download the NEW UIS file only, instead of having to download the whole skin directory again. If there is a way to do this, please let me know, or what I do need to do to update the skin. Seems a hassle to folks who only just got the skin for them to have to redownload the whole thing again... my fault, I am sorry. glenda

Thanks, T-Man, for fixing it up so that us "dial-uppers" can get uploads to go through. I appreciate all you guys have done, and the site looks great. Now, poor Fuzzy has so much to look at!!

i tried to upload a wallpaper !
it was awaiting moderation, now it's gone and
i recieved no e-mail.
the name of the wall is darthvader and submitted it
to the movie library

T-Man. I have tried to as much raise the collection of icons from www as from www2. in both cases it gives error. that I can make to raise those icons. Thanks.

I brought the updates to work today (fast connection) but I still cannot upload. I am behind a hardware firewall (non-configurable by me) but I've never had trouble uploading from here before. I tried 3 times to update the JWood IconPackage and got an instant "Page Not Found". I tried uploading it as a new submission and got the same thing. I give up.

Ozzy- if you go to the wallpaper section, and type in DARTH VADER you will see your wall is there.has 7 dowloads all ready.

well lets see, first the last couple of screenshots i updated never showed the update on the preview page, only showed the update if you used the download link, then my submissions were being placed at the bottom of the first page instead of the order it was submitted (items that were submitted before, or 1-2 days earlier were above mine), then a few seconds went by and it was at the bottom of the second page (how are people suppost to see them this way), Just didn't seem right to me.... Now my home page gallery is completely gone (no preview shots of anything), is this maintanance or what? Just waiting to see whats next I find since becoming a subscriber this site doesn't seem to like me to well....

Lynx's Den, don't feel lonely. I would guess that the problem with your screenshot slipping down so fast was that there was a hangup in some submissions not getting where they were supposed to go for several days, and a whole bunch got thru when T-Man found the problem.

Lots of things are not quite normal right now.

Speaking of not normal, this afternoon the internet gods smiled upon me and I finally got the updates uploaded for JWood Windowblinds, Objectbar, and IconPackage. About an hour later the Windowblind was approved and is in the library. The Objectbar and Iconpackage show as awaiting moderation in "My Skins". If I click on the links to them from the Windowblind the Objectbar comes up and is downloadable. Same with the IconPackage, except the IconPackage still has the old screenshot. I am wondering if they really are in moderation, or if they are in netherland. If an admin comes by, I would appreciate it if they would check on it.

thanks jebland, makes me feel a little bit better and i understand about the things that need to worked out to get things back up to snuff (had the experience with past sites i ran), but i still haven't figured out the update problem or even got an answer for it, or why my Home page previews are gone, keeps giving me this "SPECIFIED CAST IS NOT VALID". but if i click on enhanced they all show up like they are suppost to, beats me been a little leary of submitting anything at this point or at least util things get worked out.... maybe i should just wait and see whats next huh. thanks again!

I also have that error message. And if you noticed, we seem to be on www2 tonight instead of www.wincustomize.com.

yeah i bet T-man is, and the funny part is i'm clicking on www.wincustomize.com, but it shows up www2 when it loads.... wierd!!!! well i'm gonna try uploading a rainy and see what happens, wish me luck

My skins are beoming missing in the library, yet i can see them in "my skins", Also when i try to go to "my account" the brackets in my name cause some sort of error. I tried e-mailing a staff member like a week ago, but i got no response. Can somebody please change my nick to IMGOD5552666. *changes old account with that name*
