Problems When Editing Personal Information

Hey again,

The problem this time is when I go to My Account select Personal Information and try to edit it, it asks me to login (even though I already am) thats not a problem, I simply enter my email and password and click next. Although next I at the top of the edit screen it says Not Logged In and at the bottom in red, That my nick name is already taken and I need to choose another.

Even if I edit the information that I want to (my website) it will automaticly bring me back to the please login to edit information screen again, and the process repeats itself.

Anyone else getting this problem? and/or could it be fixed?

I believe they want to be that way for the personal information section for security reasons.

I understand relogging in being part of the security. But not allowing you to successfully edit your settings doesn't seem very useful.

i am having the same problem. not to mention how much slower the site is since the conversion to dotnet

On another note, the slow site speed is being addressed as well.

Hello Guys,

For the time being, as a quick fix until I look into the code to correct the issue, go to the My Account page, click on the Personal Information tab and login. Then click on the Options tab and click back over to the Vital Stats tab. This (for me anyway) seem to correct the issue with the logging out. I've tested it as well when doing updates on both of your two accounts, Steve & IL Duce with success doing things this way. I'll make a note about adding this bug to my bug fix list.
