Oh well, they did'nt post my Screen shot of the little XP virus that gives the bird. I wonder if it was to harsh or if I didnt cover enough of the desktop. They did'nt even send me a reply telling me why it was'nt submited. But I posted one before and after it and they both were uploaded.

Oh well.

They do that when the wording suffers from a lack of 'tact'.

Also,,,I see no record of the screenshot you mentioned...so my guess is it was a failed upload.

tact. hmm Please be more specific!

No my screenshot was not accepted. It was just a funny wallpaper I found of an XP critter. Looked like a live version of a virus. Figured it would give everyone a kick since there has been alot of talk about spyware lately.

I wonder why they dont describe why it doesnt get posted?

if you 'found' it it isn't yours to post so it won't be accepted.

Some people don't like  'Jesus Christ this' and 'God that...'...sometimes it's just better to bypass anything that can be construed as blaspheming.....it's not worth the hassle/repercussions...

Now im confused

If I put an image on my wallpaper and it is included in my theme, then why is that not ok to upload for a screen shot?

pc you can not upload a screenshot without covering most of the wall.. others wallpapers must be obscured in screen shots to prevent anybody from stealing it from your screen shot....i hope this clears it up.... also posts with obceneties will be removed by the ops ...

PCC: you SS was rejected for the reasons cited above. You need to place a window, or an opened program, something, partially obscuring the wallpaper. The idea is that somebody couldn't just save the image and restore the wallpaper with just 5 minutes work in Photoshop.  Hide half his face or his body.

If you just want to spread the humour, then just give a link to where you got it from. If people want the wall, they an download it from its original source.
