Star11 Not shutting down computer correctly

Hello people, recently, since last few windows 11 updates and with latest Star11 (1.22) I found out Star 11 is not turning off my computer correctly. If I select shut down from the star11 options It turns my machine down but it leaves all fans and led lights on.

I know the symptoms look like something to do with powercfg or fast boot (don't remember the exact windows name) but I have disabled everything there is on the web in that regard and the only solution is not to turn off my computer from Star11 options. I have to use the original start menu and then my computer will turn off correctly.

Hope the team can take a look at that, as for the moment I'm back to the ugly windows 11 Start menu.

 

PD: I was using windows 10 Start menu style. IDK if that's relevant.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Just try uninstall Start11. Reboot and without installing back Start11. Does the shutdown work? If yes, reinstall Start11 V1.22 again. Reboot and retest it. Report back.

Well indeed uninstalling Start11 solved the turn off problem. But I haven't tested if reinstalling it would make the problem go away and keep Star11.

To be honest after this issue I don't know if I'm willing to reinstall.

Well, I am running Start11 on my Main Windows 10 system and I don't have your issue on my system. And I believe there are lots others running Start11 on their Windows 10 system and do not have your issue on their system. If not we will have a lot more report on your issue before this. But, it still up to you if you wish not to reinstall and work out the issue.
