menu width issue

does not make use of expanded size

I am using Win10 menu format. I have lots of groups. I want each group to be one row high only - so that I can see as many groups as possible. All groups using small icons format. Some groups have more than 6 icons, causing 2 (or more) lines. I expanded the menu size and expected groups to reflow into expanded area but nothing happened, the expanded space remains unused. I tried dragging a item over, it created a new group (not what i expected), I tried dragging a group over, did nothing.

Expected operation:  (1) if I expanded the horizontal size then either (2) menu groups should stretch the entire width (preferred) or (3) groups that are off the menu, and need to be scrolled into view, should reflow into the new area (so 2 columns of groups).

You should be able to move the groups into that area.  Just drag the group name area and move it up nearer the bottom group in the column you want it to be in.  They will not reflow automatically as it is designed to work like the Windows 10 menu did where each group has a defined column and it will appear there unless there is no space for it.

Menu groups themselves will not stretch to the full width as thats not how the Windows 10 menu works.  They have a fixed 6 or 8 small icon width depending on mode. (there is a setting to allow it to be 8 icons which might help you in this case)
