I know its been said before but........................

I know its been said before but........................

I would love to see a Rainlendar section on this site.

I find this little programme or piece of eye candy (however you view it) as a great addition to any desktop.

I know you can get them from other sites but lets face it vertually all the best skinners in the world are on this site and it is most probably the most visited site in the world for skinning.

I have seen some great Rainlendar skins over the time that i have been a member here and most have been made from artists that are members of this site.

Whats more - just take a look at a lot of peoples screenshots and desktops and you will see how popular it is.

I bet it would be far popular than some of the other libraries like Cool Player to name just one.

I would like to know what you other guys and gels think of this and perhaps if there is sufficient support than we can ask this to be considered at staff level by Wincustomize.

None of us is deaf, you know.....we do listen...

Jafo uses alot of 3 dollar words but isn't it: None of us are deaf, you know.....we do listen?

Anyway it dosen't matter much to me it's not going to happen right now and Brad is right from a business point of view of how Rainlendar would benefit Wincustomize.

No one has made a case of how having a Rainlendar section would be good for WinCustomize.

I think if we had a rainy section, newbies would come here to get it and skins for it but they would also be exposed to WB and DX and download those as well.

MontyXP, to answer that question at the end that Frogboy asked earlier...

How does LogonStudio benefit WinCustomize? Litestep? How does any of the freeware apps benefit WinCustomize? It's a silly argument...

Leo....I guess I DO have a job in 'PR'....that's what the Moderators/Admins job here really is...to provide the 'interface' between the site as an entity and the community/user base.

I have a similar 'PR' role with Pixtudio.com, and other moderators are in Admin positions at other skinning sites.

My 'real' job is Architecture.....where a fair proportion of the task is to interact with the client in a communicative way....and at the same time be capable of treating Councils and other regulatory bodies with 'kid gloves' [the latter is often referred to as 'brown-nosing'].  It takes the skills of a consumate Diplomat to get across to a Town Planner that he is a dribbling moron [and wrong] without him/her actually noticing...
