Crazy Cursor

Start 11

I am using version 0.91 of Start 11 on my Home Theater PC, which a new build (about two months old and very stable) with a clean install of Windows 11.  When I have Start 11 installed and I open JRiver Media Center 28, the cursor just flies all over the screen, then settles in one spot at random.  As soon as I touch the mouse again, off it goes.  If I uninstall Start 11, Media Center and mouse work as they should.  At first I thought it was mouse batteries but no joy there.  I even tried a couple different mice.  Anyone else seeing this?

Thanks,

Jim

That is very strange.  I just tried installing JRiver Media Center 28 here and the same is not happening.

If you disable the startmenu option in Start11 settings does it change anything?

Likewise if you launch it from somewhere other than Start11 menu?

Funny you should say this... Right after I posted this thread, I reinstalled Start 11, configured it, promptly turned off the Start 11 menu and launched MC28 from the desktop and all was good.  I left it open and restarted the Start 11 menu and it (the cursor) immediately bonkers.  Very strange.

Do you have Start11 search disabled?  Which menu style?

Actually one other thing to try.

Bootup with Start11 enabled.  Then kill Start11_64.exe from taskmanager.  Now open MC28.  Still ok?
