Mechvibes conflict

Hello,

I just bought CursorFX and I have a problem. I believe there is a conflicht between Mechvibes and CursorFX. I am apllying sounds to cursor clicks (left down and right down), but, if I leave Mechvibes running, CursorFX hangs, makes the statusbar restart, then audio services crash and sound from any source stops working. If I quit Mechvibes, everything seems fine. I don't want to ask for a refund, because I like CursorFX Is there a fix?

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know more on your system.

  1. Windows version, please use Winver.exe for full Windows version numbers.
  2. CursorFX version.
  3. Mechvibes version.

Note : I have tried Mechvibes v2.3.0 with CursorFX v4.03, but I don't have issue running both of it at the same time. Below I made a video testing it and it was fine for me.

Hello,

CursorFX is version 4.03

Mechvibes is version 2.3.0

Windows is version 21H1 (build SO 19043.1110)

It usually doesn'r crash right away. Try using both of them for a while and see what happens. I had to restart three times. I don't know if letting the system go to sleep might also affect the issue.

Thanks,

Lapo

Thank you,

I should also mention I have Espanso running. It shouldn't interfere, but I am trying to disable it and see what happens.

I replaced Espanso first with Autohotkeys and then with Fastkeys.

Autohotkeys immediately make the laptop crash.

With Fastkeys everything seems fine for a couple of hours, then it made the laptop crash so bad it went into recovery mode.

I uninstalled CursorFX. If you can fix this issue I will very happy to install it again.
