Start10 not displaying a shortcut on some computers

Hi,

I have Start10 installed on several computers. On most it works fine. On two computers it doesn't display the Documents shortcut on the right hand side even though I have it set to Display as a link. The documents shortcut is the only one I have problems with. The settings for Start10 are identical for all computers and all users, and as far as I know the computers are set up the same (but obviously something is different).

The problem affects all users on a computer the same way. I have done an uninstall, purge and reinstall and that made no difference. In C:\Program Files (x86)\Stardock\Start10\Links, the link named "2" has no target.

Sorry to hear you are having issues.

need more info , please.. for ALL the PC's ..

are all installs on the default location C drive

Windows version ( full numbered version ) use winver.exe for that info

and Start 10 version - click on about in the app.

Hi,

On all machines Start10 is installed to the default location in X:\Program Files (x86).

Start10 is the current version 1.9.7 on all machines. The problem has been around for a while on the first machine, perhaps at least the last version or two. On the second machine, I just noticed it today so I can't comment on the history.

I keep Windows 10 current on all the machines. Windows 10 is at Version 21H1 (OS Build 19043.1083).
