How do I install this software without the CD

Hello.

I bought the SOASE-Trinity when it was a windows game with the CD and CD Key. I threw away all of the CD's but still kept the CD key in the registry.

I would like to re-download the game but when trying to put the CD key in steam, it won't work.

How do I go abouts in re-installing this game.
