Desktop icons keep getting back to old arrangement

Please help a brother out :)

Hi guys - I have an issue:

I created a new arrangement for my desktop icons but whenever I click the "restore snapshot" button, it keeps jumping to the old arrangement - how can I solve this?

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know more on your system.

  1. Windows version, please use Winver.exe for full Windows version numbers.
  2. Fences versions.

Hi - thanks for getting back to me.

 

I'm using Windows 10, 2004 version, 19041.804

 

My Fences version is: 3.0.9.11

Please try purge and reinstall steps as mentioned here: https://forums.stardock.com/486084/fences-support-faq#reinstalling Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account. Reboot after the purged. Reinstall, and Reboot again after the installation. Retest it. Report back here.

Hi, so unfortunately this still didn't work.

But I did find a solution - I deleted all of the snapshots I have previously taken. Then reorganized my desktop the way I did before and took a new snapshot.

So far, seems like it solved it :)
