Unable to configure Start10 as Start8

I am a registered owner. I checked the suggested forum, and I found no information that explains how to configure Start10 so that my current icons (as in the original Win10 display) disappear, and the Start7 configuration appears. On set-up configuration, I chose the Start7 appearance, and nothing changed.

On your web-site, 1st page, you show what I am trying to get, but unfortunately the image does not copy into this posting, so I include the address:

I am stuck with the "WITHOUT START 10" menu while I want the menu displayed on the right side of your web page  “WITH START 10”, as displayed on bottom on the 1st page above. I re-installed and rebooted with any benefit.

Is there anyone there capable of explaining how I get that?

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know more information on your system.

  1. Windows version, please use Microsoft's Winver.exe to get the full version numbers.
  2. Start10 version installed.
  3. Have you try the purge and reinstalled? If not, please try purge and reinstall steps as mentioned here: https://forums.stardock.com/486022/start10-support-faq#reinstalling. Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account. Reboot after the purged. Reinstall, and Reboot again after the installation. Retest it. Report back here.
