Ashes of the Singularity bug

I play a skirmish, huge map, 7 players all AI. I finish the game winning and have option to keep playing or "done" i choose done and i get a permanent white screen every time, I cannot shut it down any other way but a hard reset. I right clicked the program in the window ribbon and chose "close window" nothing happens, I tried task manager and it pops up under the white screen and I cannot move it or pull it to front. I tried to close using Steam, nothing works. This happens every time I play a skirmish and win.
