Icons are invisible and blink erratically when hovered over before disappearing again. Deskcapes 10 latest - Windows 8.1. Help?

My desktop icons are completely invisible despite adjusting settings to fully visible and only appear very briefly when i hover over where they are supposed to be. How do I fix this? I have tried deskcapes for 3 years and it has never ever worked properly since Deskcapes 8.

I am using high contrast mode. I once got it to work a long time ago but I can't remember how I did it. Please fix this issue as it is a problem your organization has never truly corrected in several years.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Please try the purge and reinstall steps as mentioned here : https://forums.stardock.com/485954/deskscapes-support-faq#reinstalling . Just make sure to reboot after the purge, re-download the latest version from your account. Reinstall that, reboot again. Retest it and report back.
