Using latest Fences version. Windows 8.1 OS. Fences loads normally on boot but after a screensaver operates the icons within the fences no longer link to the programs. Double-clicking the icon just opens and closes fences. Only way to reset is reboot system. Anyone have a fix?

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know more on your system.
1) Windows 8.1 full version numbers. Please use Microsoft's Winver.exe to get the full version numbers.
2) Is the screensaver in internal screensaver or a 3 party screensaver manager like DisplayFusion's etc

It's Windows 8.1 Pro, 64 bit, version 6.3 (Build 9600)
I use different screensavers, microsoft and third party, happens with all of them. I may get one, maybe two screensaver cycles without the glitch but subsequent activations will cause the problem.
Might be the screensavers are causing compatibility problem. Try disable/untick "Translucent Fence backgrounds" option and see if it help.

Disabled translucent and haven't had any problems for a couple day. Hope that was the fix. Thanks.
