are you using shareware version just to check it out? or did you buy windowblinds? cause i am not sure but i think people with paid version get higher priority so when there is maintenance on site, only shareware folks will get message that libraries are closed for maintenance. i may be wrong cause its been so long since i bought object desktop and i never have problems with the exception that i brought up before when i'm not logged in.

Carbyville....give it a little more time....I think full access to the site is not happening all at once, as it were....some may have access before others...

I hope it will work eventually.

I'm just using internet explorer to access winC and I dont have any products of wincustomize. I am just skinning not buying which may seem cheap. I dunno why I have been unable to access the site. All I will say is that its very annoying.

During peak use situations, or in the case of work on servers, etc, preference for access to the site is given to those who do/have contributed to the site in some positive way....call it 'user pays'.
Needless to say, it is clearly only appropriate that preferential treatment be given to financial supporters of the site, since it is their contribution which helps pay for access for ALL.

Annoying it may be, but its remedy is within your control...

Haha yeah I suppose it is but I think people with a crtain amount of skins should get some priority because we are helping to keep people around. No as high priority as people who are actually paying maybe but we do make this site what it is, even if we dont buy stuff.

Cerebro: I agree, and they do. That's why we have user classes. The more you contribute to the site, (either by making good skins or by being a strong presence on the messageboard and leaving a lot of comments to other skinners) the more you can get promoted.
People of the Apprentice class or higher are treated the same as paying customers.

Thanks! I didnt know how that all worked. Thats pretty cool. By the way it has now been over 36 hours and WinC still wont work for me. Oh well, I have confidence something will happen either on your end or my end to make it work.
