Dumb question...

Okay, I'm sure this has been asked but I didn't really see anything clear as to an answer so I will ask again.. I want to download some skins and wallpapers but keep getting this;
The Library is down for a moment while we perform some server maintence.

Does anyone have a rough idea on when this "moment" will be up? I've been getting the error since yesterday afternoon. Or is it just my computer?

Its my computer too, and I'm sure the message means just what it says: server maintence. I've had since yesterday too so its probably something like a major upgrade but I dont know anything for sure. I havent had it before. Hope it gets back online soon though.

If you look down the threads you will see that some server maintnence was performed earlier. Maybe thats part of our troubles.

I deleted my cookies: No difference. I'm still getting the error.

I wonder why it's working on some and not others.

Yeah I read those threads but that was from 9 O'clock this morning. Seeing as it's almost 7:30 in the evening and I still have that error, I was getting suspicious.

Maybe slower internet connections take a little longer to register the change?

Are you on dial-up or Broadband, CerebroJD?

Yeah it does help at least to my theory. Doesn't mean I'm right but, it works for you and you're on broadband maybe the server fix updated quicker because of the broadband. I'm only on Dial-Up which maybe causes the update to go slower.

I'm back and it still doesnt work although the skin counts in each section are still going up like normal. WinMedia has gone up one since I restarted but I still cant get in to see whats new.

None. It wont even let me access the full list when I hit more over by the index of them. I just get a message that says "The Library is down for a moment while we perform some server maintence."

maybe a stupid question cville, but are you logged in to wincustomise, using skinbrowser or stardockcentral?

cause on those rare occasions when i go to wc using my browser and i am not logged in, it says libraries are down. and then i log in and , presto, they are back.

Okay.. I'm not really sure how else to log in I've just downloaded Windowblinds yesterday so I'm not too firmiliar with it yet. What are the other ways to log in?
