I've used that theme and I think its great. I wasn't allowed to comment (I think) when I first downloaded it. I would like to know the new name when you re-upload it. [email protected]

I was just looking at it this morning, too. Didn't download it since I'm presently DX "challenged." I haven't really played with DX.

I've downloaded it 3x now to be sure I wasn't hallucinating.

ok, it's gone now...Probably had something to do with the name of the theme.

I use the wincuso browser and it was still in the library XML on my computer. Once I refreshed the library, the theme wasn't there anymore.

Adam, don't change the name, just upload it with the same name but without the Apple logo. An Admin probably took it down due to the logo, not the rest of it. It's never a good idea to use the logo, as Apple gets really touchy about it. I haven't checked, but I would assume that it has been "exiled" not "deleted", so you can still see it in "my skins" and update it from there.

Branding is a big issue, Novell was awarded damages and payment for the time this one Tech Support company inverted their logo and changed very litte of it and made use of it..

Only one Commercial Company has ever complained about the use if its Property/Logo/Trademark in OS skinning, and that is Apple.
We have a choice. We either comply with demands/concerns of Apple or we close down totally.
You can guess the chosen course of action.

Uploading and/or displaying the Apple Logo without permission is a violation of their copyright and they are entitled to complain.

Whether you like it or not, that's just too bad.
Nothing is going to change.

Delete any logos belonging to Apple and resubmit.

Fortunately for most/all, Microsoft clearly is quite happy with incidental use of its graphics/images/logos as I expect it is seen as promoting their whares, whereas Apple sees use of theirs on a rival platform as a dilution/debasement of their product identity....

Call it Orange and resubmit it......

Just a question. Is it that you only delete themes you think Apple will complain about or do they complain first then you delete? The reason I ask is becuase I see all kinds of stuff with an apple on them especially in ObjectBar themes.
