OK, I'm going to play dume here and ask what is Stardock central? I have a subscription to all their componits and have no idea what that is. any help I'd be greatful for. thank you

Ok. If SDC Central is crashing while updating itself then you will need to wait for the full install which should be available either later today or tomorrow.

where do I find "automatic update" in stardock central? cant seem to find it.

Just close the proggy and open it again while online....but it 'does' crash during update at least for some, so my advice is to wait a while...

Roger Cale: If you set Component Manager to View All Components, you should see Stardock Central in the list.
