try this for me....
you've got the .logonxp files you've downloaded in a directory/folder you know the location of correct?
go to that folder, left click once on one of the logon packs, and then right click on it and select rename from the popup menu. change only the extension, change it to "zip"
once it has changed, double click on it and either you cpomression program of choice, WinZip, RAR, or Windows will open the zip file and show you what is located in the zip...
ok, now open a second windows explorer window and browse to your C:\program files\wincustomize\logonstudio folder
right click on it and create a new folder and name it to the name of the logon pack, not with the extension, just the name before the extension... once it is created, go to your other Windows Explorer where you have the zip file open and then right click on the top file, and then hold down your control key "CTRL" and then left click the bottom file so all are highlighted, once all are highlited with the control key still held down, right click again and then select copy.
no go back to the other Windows explorer window, open up the folder you just created and the right click and click "paste" on the popup which shows itself...
this will put all the files from that logong into the folder ready to be installed....
Load Lgonstudio and if does not show up as a lodable logon, then refresh list and it should now show itself... and be able to be used, seems some are actually names .logonxp and are really .zip files from what I've read in the support news-group for LogonStudio and this is what others who run into this same issue are told to try and it seems to work...
