I got a good kick out of your Hardhat comment, working with blueprints on job
sites and trying to tell someone back in the office, well even if it works on paper, it won't work out here

most of the time it was because someone at the begining didn't build to the paper, it was more like " close enough for government work " even though your wrapping the roofs in steal panels and dimensions pretty much have to match or it gets all juked up...

Way back when this site was just getting started, in one of the many "titles" threads, I asked T-Man if I could have the title 'Vagrant'. He actually put the title on there for me so I was a Vagrant for quite a while... I see others use it too sometimes.

Must've been a uniquely American term, a friend in Quebec didn't get it. Titles can be very misleading. For example, I was greatly disappointed in the book Fear of Flying. I thought it was goint to be more along the lines of the Alex Haley book called Airport.

I had a friend from Nottingham here in the states for a two month visit on
