@shu ... Any chances of kenya getting into the finals .. with the way they are playing and with their luck..
They have to get past Australia first....bit of a tall order...
Nope, they just laugh and disqualify you from playing for 12 months.

Nope Jafo.. Kenya plays with India in the Semis.. So they have to get through India..

PooPs, I'd say, if I ndia were to lose to Kenya, they would be better off seeking citizenship in Kenya too...

And Ande, shouldn't your statement have an 'only' somewhere in between?

Nope, Rules are rules. There is an appeal process available and rules can be amended. No action taken, the sentence stands. Of course there are those who do not accept the decision, I mean those who ascribe to the "tall poppy syndrome"

ok...

I'll go read, what I get for sitting in the cheap seats
cheap / cheat?

what I mean, I's bien lazy which never pays in the end...

The ball is called a 'ball'.
The bat is called a 'bat'.

With me so far?...

A 'wicket' comprises 3 stumps and 2 bails on top of them....but is also a reference to a batsman who is now 'out'.....

That's enough learnin' for today...

Hey can i join these lessons 2 .. there are somethings even i dont understand .. even though ive been seeing cricket for a very long time ....
mm, , I dun no I want to tell anyone

updated my desktop shot with an idea I was kicking around late at night and early in the morning. Each person was thrown together in about ten minutes each and on seperate paper. So they really do not meet correctly, and the one with the bat is really fubar of the two...

I need to go to a good site for cricket fans which I can look at the body moves in action snap shots and the uniforms, also how they pitch, and stand and such when batting...

anyway...

"And that's the end of the over" is my favorite Cricket phrase.

Is it fair to literally "bowl" the ball as opposed to throwing it?

Has there ever been any tea table clearing brawls? I've only been able to catch "tests" on TV in Asia. I don't think I've ever seen any real matches.

I wish we played Cricket in the US...

Then again, we'd ruin it...

Rugby is a club sport only at Colleges

dunno why they can not make it just like football...
Cricket would be good also, Soccar was taking off pertty good for a bit, but seems to have fallen to the road side for some reason also...

I'll pick up where Jafo left off.

The ground is more-or-less round, with an area in the middle, which is approximately 10 meters long and 2 meters wide, called the pitch. There are two Batsman on the field at one time. They stand at one end of the pitch. One Batsman (the Batter) stands at the end the ball is bowled to. The other (the Runner) is at the other end and counts the blades of grass in the ground until the other batsman tells him to wake up, and they both run to the other end. Each time they swap ends, it's called a "run", and is worth 1 (one) point on the score.

If the Batter hits the ball and it goes over the boundary line, it is worth 4 (four) runs. If it goes over the boundry line on the full (without bouncing) it is worth 6 (six) runs.

And on that note, I'll leave the rest up to someone else.
