Perhaps you should read the help file for WindowBlinds, there isn't a lot of info there, but it does explain how to MAKE IT WORK.
I can tell you this......... the theme tab is the wrong tab. In XP it's the Appearance tab, not sure what the tab is called in the other OS's, but the theme tab, ain't it, brutha.

If you send windowblinds $20US, then I'm pretty sure it will work. As long as they get thier money, they will be very happy.

pppsssttt! Here's a little secret...our servers are busy today. It has something to do with WB 4 beta being released on Object Desktop... *A lot* of downloading goin' on my friends. Sorry, but the people who pay get priority service (funny how life is usually like that). It will calm down in a couple days.

Though I do have to admit only getting 1/3 rd of my normal 1.3 mbit data pumped through the 1.5 mbit pipe does cause a sigh every now and then.

I can't get over how slow this site is today. I have cable internet but it doesn't mean anything. I am getting so mad that I punched a hole in my office wall! This site is so slow and they want people to pay extremely high costs to use it?!? >

Primerica - it doesn't matter what amount of bandwidth you have or don't have. When a server's being hit heavily, and a lot of /its/ bandwidth is being used, the amount of your own bandwidth becomes a moot point.

The Alpha for WB4 -was- just released, as its been mentioned, so is it really /any/ wonder that the server is seeing a pretty heavy useage?

The servers on this web site can't handle the pressure! They suck like puke. Why don't they attempt to up grade it? Why do we have to pay fantastic money to use this site, when the server is slow? Where does all this money go? Who's getting rich. Some people should give this site a rest and let the rest of us enjoy it! Why don't people stay at home for once?!? >

Uhm - it sees to me that staying at home is what causes people to come here - unless I'm the only person who has a computer at home.

I just don't think you understand the sheer amount of bandwidth this site & stardock use up in a day.

If it's so terribly horrible to you though, do something instead of just complaining. Start your own site & community. Otherwise, you're here for free - you get what you pay for, it's a -service- not a right and all that.

Primerica_801, a few things:

#1. I was unaware that puke sucked (and that anything could suck like puke)

#2. Do you have any idea how much WinCustomize HAS upgraded the servers? Their servers must be incredible because they serve an IMMENSE amount of people (check out their alexa ratings at www.alexa.com)

#3. An admin ALREADY explained why the servers are currently so slow, and that it is a temporary issue right now.

#4. If you are angry enough to take the effort to flame the message board, why don't you try another skinning site. There are many. A great one is deviantart over at www.deviantart.com, but as for me, I am VERY content with the fair way that this site is operated.

I've already been kicked off one message board (sportsnet.ca) for commenting on the Vancouver Canucks. It's to the point where a person can't even state their own opinion without idiot people making fluff! I really think people should wake up and tune their brains into reality. Most people need a good hammer to the head just to wake up.

If you've been kicked off a message board, perhaps there is a lesson. There is a way to state opinion without being offensive. You should be the one waking up. I find it extremely annoying that you would refer to me (or others on this site) as "idiot people". I think you should clean your act up while you still have the opportunity to do so here.
