Nothing ventured... Nothing gained...

To whom it may concern,
I was taught that sharing is good and I would like to share the skin I am working on with a victim. OH! I mean a volunteer.
So far everyone I asked has declined so I am asking here.
What I propose is for a collaboration on finishing the skin.
I tried to upload a screen-shot to my profile but it is not taking so sorry no idea is available to base a decision on.
Anyone 1/2 interested email me and I will send either a screen-shot or the skin for further evaluation.

Thank you,
Sally

Thanks David. I sent the skin over to you to better determine if the mud is too deep to step in.
If you decide that it is then post here so maybe another sucker, whoops I mean, volunteer might step up.

davad, Thanks. Let's see if David wants to collaberate before I send it. The back is included in the skin so the size is large. I changed the back several times or I would put it online in the wall department.

Perhaps in the future the back craze will be tiled and not so large and included in skins.

David, Seems the mail I sent bounced. Perhaps your ISP mail would have been better than Hotmail account.

Soooooo....

I put the skin online at http://users2.ev1.net/~sallyh/3-26.zip

The offer to collaberate is still open for anyone that might be interested.

My email is in my profile or [email protected]

I removed the Wall so the file is now mucho smaller.

I can't get it to load. It freezes up my computer. Sorry. If you sent me a screen shot I could give my opinion. I also looked at the individual images for the buttons and stuff, and from what i can tell, it looks like its gonna be cool. Sorry that I couldn't be of help.

In the last couple days I have changed the skin, AGAIN!

I decided to use the 3d programs that have been catching dust over the past couple years.

Curious why it locked up your PC. Perhaps the throbber might be the culprit.

I just downloaded it... and installed it... I have some good thoughts about it and bad... overall it is a good skin... not too bad... I like the buttons especially... I don't know how you handle constructive critisism so I won't go deeply into the bad... overall I rate it at a 7 out of 10.. keep working on it... and go with what you think looks best... because it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks... this is art at it's best... and plenty of people never understood picasso...

seems all my skins lately are sliding into the same look. That is the reason I inquired about a collaberation.

I have tried to get out of the rut and changed the skin at least a half doz times. Parts of all the changes are scattered throughout the skin I uploaded. I have been jumping all over the skin looking for new ideas.

I was hoping someone might want to do the XP part and perhaps that would give an idea on how to tie the rest together.

This skin I have been working on for a couple months and not about to give up on it but close to that point now.

I think with some fresh input it could be a good skin.

OKay
I finally was able to put a screenshot of the skin in my profile.

Click my name and take a gander.

From the screenshot, it looks good. Heck, just finish it off and I think it will go over rather nicely.

The XP taskbar is the only thing I have done to the XP start menu.

The window frame is the only thing I have been working on. Everything else is parts of the skins past life.

It has come a long way Sally. I am glad that you decided on a new name instead of giving the other on a new look. Things are getting a bit brighter also, I am glad to see that. I also like the background.

Ah Madam Keila
The throbber awaits if you are still interested in doing it. I quickly made one that has balls but that is all it has and not very exciting.

Balls that go up and balls that go down.

I will upload the back to wincustom since I am tired of changing it. It has been changed a doz times. Those are the colors I am working with. That is my story and I am sticking to it

looks interesting whats the premise with the name

I don't think there is a premise. I came up with the name because at the start of making the skin I was messing with an image of a dollar bill to be incorporated in the skin, and the name just sounded like it would be good.

Needless to say, I couldn't find a place to use the bill image.

Thank you and I do like it, evokes thought and reminds me of the rush of feelings which swam over me for a few days afterwards...

The wallpaper seems to be not suitable for Wincustom so I decided to trash the entire skin.
