Ugh...it's gotta be pointless if there's no time limit...I even made a cup of coffee while doing it....[131]....

I got 138 and it said I'm a "Cunning Linguist". What's that?

Actually it said "Facts Curator" which disturbs me even more. I dont like the aound of that. I kinda wish I never took it.

Thanks.

"True wisdom is the knowledge that you know nothing"

No, that's called modesty. And once again, this 142 (Visionary Philosopher) confirms that I am gifted.

And I know where I fucked up. It's those "some A's are B's and some B's are C's. Now, some A's are then definitely C's?" questions. I always answer "false", but "neither" could be just as right (in fact, as long as you don't pick "true" you deserve points).

Oi, and J-Fo is right. This means nothing without a time limit. Plus I should get bonus points for English not being mynative tongue and all that.

And while I'm complaining, since when does finishing sayings have anything to do with intelligence?

That mensa test was more interesting. Finished it in fifteen minutes, skipping the two word juggling question (I hate those) and messing up four others. Ergo: 24 of 30.

"Your score was 24 out of 30. That is a very good score, you would have a good chance of passing the Mensa test. "

122 and I am a word warrior! I am told I have an arsenol of words to make my points known!

I passed the mensa test one time... for some reason it only made me feel sad.

/me wonders what good it is to rack up all those glorious numbers if they don't translate into wealth, happiness, success.....?

Truly great madness cannot be achieved without significant intelligence.

One of the indictments of civilizations is that happiness and intelligence are so rarely found in the same person.

Hey Snarph. I'm doing good...hope you are too

joetheblow, glad you like the nick shmoopy...rhymes with poopy and droopy and loopy (etc. you get the idea) which makes me giggle.

craeonics, glad you got a kick out of the Mensa test... It was the only online test I actually thought was the most accurate out of many that have come and gone. You scored the same as me even though I think I took the full 30 minutes so I could grab another cup of coffee. I hope coffee isn't cheating.

Goodmorphing, you lil' genius you! (((HUG))) I have a feeling most of the 'skinners' on this site have a higher than average I.Q. but yes, you're right GM, intelligence doesn't always guarantee success or happiness and I think many of the greatest minds suffer deep sadness and depression.

Hmmmmmmmm. Perhaps ignorance truly is bliss.

One of my favorite old black and white "Twilight Zone" episodes was the one where this man knew "THE MEANING OF LIFE" but every time people dragged it out of him and he'd whisper it to them they'd immediately go insane. It still sends shivers up my spine to even think of it because it lets your imagination fill in the blank and sometimes using our imagination is way worse (he-he)!

***none too subtle change of subject***

Last year went way too fast! I hope this year lasts a bit longer and is a positive year for everyone. I wish good times lasted longer than the bad ones. Pain and suffering always seems to stretch on eternally and when the good stuff happens it seems to be in a blink of an eye. No wonder people take pictures!

129, Precision Processor. This apparently means that among other things, I have superior skill in mathematics.

Crae: If all swoopies are smoochies, and some swoopies are bloopies, then some swoopies are bloopies. True or False? Try this:
If all oranges are fruits and some oranges are sweet, then some fruits are sweet. True.
That's how I do it when I'm given swoopies and shmoochies, and A's and B's. I replace it with things I know and see if it makes sense.

My score was 133, it said that I am a Visionary Philosopher. Does that mean I daydream a lot and then analyze my daydreams?????? lol

So does this mean we are suppossed to be wealthy people cause we are smart or fools because we didn't live to our full potential?

I fermly believe in multipul intelegences. I believe there are 6 from last time I studied the ideal. These IQ tests are so subjective.

So what would have happened if I got all of them right? What would have happened if I got all of them wrong?

Riddle me that...

It only means that you score well/bad on this kind of tests. C'est tout.

paxx> Your statement may end up to be true, but the tricky one I meant was: "if some A's are B's and some B's are C's, then some A's are definitely C's". Some and definite in one sentence doesn't fly with me, ergo false or neither (probably false).

You know, I was checking the scores and we are all about the same.

/me says that we are either all average or just all smarter than avg people

Or all as equally dumb....there IS that...
Or all of us look like likely prospects to be paying out money... after all, we are there taking their tests. Maybe they know better than call any of us dumb until after they get some $$$$$
