ObjectDock is back !

I've heard rumblings on irc about it, but whenever I tried to find out what it was, it was like walking into an elevator and asking who farted....

What kind of functionality does this offer, drag and drop, etc.? I'm sure more than just shortcuts. People always grump when I make a theme with shortcuts that are too big, but in everything else the trend seems to be toward larger icons and stuff. How does this thing work? Forgive my MacIgnorance...

Lots of new Stardock stuff these days.

It's a dock that shows your running tasks and allows you to drop things on the right side. So it's both a task manager and program launcher where you can set the icons to those running tasks. When you mouse over them, they grow.

It's going to be freeware.

Can't wait to see it in action.

hmmmmmmmmmm... So people who use alternate shells could use it as a taskbar? more and more interesting all the time...

will it be skinnable? I the OSX Dock gets anoying, but if you could cutomize its behavor it would be very cool.

That's excellent! Although there are other docks available, they lack the ability to show running applications, which is why this will definitely rock!

Ya, but this is will keep alot of OS-X fans happy. Thou as someone who has a mac with the realdock, i hope this one can somehow be made less anoying then the real thing.

I think they are free becuse anyone who charged would be sued out of existance by Apple.

The original comes late?....DX does docks, then theres Mobydock and YZ's Dock. Mobydock also does "running apps" and YZ's can be docked top, bottom, left and right. At least it will be free. Look out for the rampant unauthorized distributions of icons and png's though. Hell, even Moshi has a litestep dock that will run inside of explorer.....

Since it's free it really doesn't matter to us whether people use it or not. But since others have since come along and made docks and Apple hasn't pounced on them, we might as well put this out there. It's fun and it's free and it has a lot (LOT) of nice touches in it.

It does seem very cool Frogboy! I can't beleive no one has commented on that awesome looking WB skin you are styling with there. That looks pretty cool too...
