Look people....get a friggin life. I was pissed not so much because it was rejected, but the fact that this site states, and I quote - this is one of the statements that causes work to be rejected...
"Bryce art, unless the result is so astonishing that one could never tell it was done in Bryce."

I have to say that some of the artwork that comes from users that are using Bryce isn't that great and it gets posted...so that is why I call the people that are judging the work hypocrites...and that's the simple truth.

If you wanted to make this a matter of pure objectivity, then let the people who submit the art here the judges and lets see how it stands before everyone's eyes, then if its rejected...so be it.

Show us a link of your work that was rejected, let us see. Everyone one has a different opinion about what is good and what is not.

jav57- You would have had better results be saying something different in your subject. That got everyone on the defensive. 2. If you would have taken the time to read the article in the news section, you would have had time to cool off. Then you could have presented your self in a better light. You probably recieved support. The way you went about it, none was comming or very little. Think about it.

Sorry, elvee...you wont see my work here because it was "moderated". The people who deem themselves "judges" here are the 'final' word about what looks good.

and to you...oldman, I did read it and if you read my last submission you would know that I quoted the very statement I was referring to...so you would understand why I feel like the artwork is accepted or rejected, subjectively, not objectively. I wouldn't give a crap if they did submit my work...that's not the point.

This site is not devaintart. We moderate walls here. Most people that submit get some work moderated. Most people understand that. Doesn't make it better or worse, just different.

You might have read it but I guess you didn't understand it.

Do you have a website of your own to upload it to and then provide us with a link to view it? Better yet, upload it to DeviantArt.com They will take any thing(no pun intended)

You probably didn't see my submission...nor do I really care that you saw it, the fact still remains that the work I have seen from users using "Bryce" is not astonishing, or have you not seen the work people have submitted using bryce as their tool for graphic design?

Let me tell you something- I agree with you that a lot of the bryce wall suck. On that we agree. The fact remaines is that starting today (as was posted) the moderators were going to be tougher on Wallpapers. If you would have uploaded it a couple days ago we would not be having this talk. Your work would have been up. It seems that you were caught in the bad time frame. I'll bet that you were not the only one rejected. There is a wall or logon (I cannot remember which one) that was rejected and the author that redid it and it passed. He stated that in his comments. Point beining is he didn't come to the message board all hot and bothered. I'am just like you, a user not part of the site.

to tell u the truth i like my work being rejected (not givin anyone any ideas here ) its helpful to know that the ppl here are doin there job, thats y i don upload to deviant art. Uploading here for the first time was like WOW. Now it gets tuffer i like a challenge, makes me better at what i do. so just take it in think about where u screwed up and try again.

You guys are totally missing his point. Most of the Bryce work here is not astonishing. It very easilt recognized as a Bryce work, and that is contradictrary to the guidelines as they've always been. Not the new tougher standards, the old standards.
