gang of hypocrites

I submitted a wallpaper that I creted using Bryce that was rejected. And yet I see all kinds of Bryce art in the wallpaper list that aren't "astounding" or so your "guidlines" state. I'll just keep my work to myself from now on...thank you very much!

Your welcome. Did you read the article on the home screen about wallpapers are going to be moderated at a higher level than in the past. If not, you should. Maybe that will tell you something.

There are plenty of sites that will take your wallpaper 'no questions asked'. However, this site has stated that for the purpose of keeping the site more 'skin' oriented it must begin moderating more intensely all the wallpapers submitted.

You need not take it so personally. The other wallpapers were there before this new initiative was started, so there isn't much they can do about those.

Live well, bring peace, have fun.

*teeth together*....I loathe making fun of someone who is disappointed because his work didnt come through. Instead of supporting and stimulate him to go on making new work, this looks like chasing people away. Make Wincustomize a place for all people please, I hear that so often hear, then also try to live by that rule >

Lecrayon- No one knew that his work was rejected but him. So if he wantes to put it on the message board in this fashion then it's free game. He got an e-mail telling him alone of his rejection.

Hey i can understand about someone being dissappointed because their work didn't make it through moderation, but to come on the board and call us a "gang of hypocrites"? Oh no! It's a brand new ballgame!

You know, Lecrayon, I do wish he would reconsider. I'm sorry his work was rejected. As you know, mine has been rejected and scrutinized too.

But I learned that by posting something like this to the message board just opens you up to ridicule.

If he has a complaint with being rejected then he should email the admins and discuss it with them privately. It really is the only way to solve these problems. I learned that the hard way.

Once you post it to an open forum like this, you run the risk of being poked fun at. It happened to me, it's happened to others, and it will continue to happen.

P.S.

If you reread the post by elvee you will see that he is actually making fun of me when I ended my first post with 'Live well, bring peace, have fun. ' I took it in the good humor that it was intended. I'm used to being made fun of. I just made a joke back at elvee. No big deal.

There was another guy about 2 or 3 weeks ago that had a wall rejected and he stated it different and also posted a link to his site so we could look at it. I thought it way as good as the ones that were loaded. He recieved favorable comments. It's all in the way you present yourself. Think about it.

Aaah, okay then. Ofcourse I knew Motion, you had problems, as I had them too! Sometimes reading is hard. I still think topics should be sometimes discussed on the board because it gives transparancy to other users, especially when it comes to guidelines of Wincustomize. Sadly enough mostly it ends in a flame and parting, and that shouldn't be the outcome you know?

motion, everyone did not poke fun at you. They didn't want you to leave. Now that it has been awhile maybe you should reread it.

I agree, we should use these boards to discuss things. Even sensitive things like this do need to be discussed. But the topic needs to be presented as WiseOldMan said above. That way, we start from a positive viewpoint. Everyone is on the same side that way. That way, we are all looking for the solution together.

Yes, sometimes someone will come on and flame the topic. It's our duty to disregard these people and to look past the flame and stay focused on the topic in a positive way.

Lecrayon- Sometimes a good offence is a defence. If you go on the attact, you are going to come under fire. If you present yourself in a non-aggresive way you will get supporters. Does that make sense?

Yep, WiseOldMan, makes very much sense! On the other hand one can understand the disappointment too, when your work is moderated. And sometimes one says things on instant...(As you know, I sometimes make such mistakes)...

Lecrayon- When you are young you have a tendency to fly off the handle easy. When you get older you stop and think first. It's a learning experience(one hopes). Maybe next time he might think first. Besides, what did we have to do with his rejection. We're just like him. If he wants our help don't come at us armed that way. We will fight back.

Hmm WiseOldMan...hmmm...if you are older you understand people can react that way...it doesnt mean you should react on the same level... Bedtime!
