3D

I was looking at some of the 3D screensavers Microsoft has with their Plus, and was wondering if anything like that could be incorporated into DesktopX since it supports animation. Would really be something if you could achieve the same effect without using a screensaver.

Wow, Feline, where are you? This thread has just got another member. We didn't scare anyone off of this one. But, then, we aren't talking about menus anymore.

Yes, Adni, I will continue to dream and see if they come true. (Maybe I'll muster up the courage to tinker around with the 3d effect.)

By the way, hello Peff.

Hello starone....just so you don't feel ignored...I always read your threads...I try to refrain from from butting in when I don't have anythig constructive to say...but I do read them (and think about what is discussed)...as I'm sure many people do

Nice to talk to you Peff. You may join us anytime you want. Maybe one of these days Feline will be back with us. After all, he did start this "no one wants to join us." Now he has people joining and he's nowhere to be seen (I'm sure I'll catch it from him when he does join.) Seems he must be sleeping again. You know those Felines - they sleep 24 hours a day.

Hi starone. I'm reading this too, but you guys are so good at this the rest of us are transfixed and let you get on with it.

You keep refering to feline as 'he'. I thought feline was sometimes she, sometimes he, somtimes neither? Or maybe you know something we don't.

Actually, I believe Feline is a "he". However, I will let him speak for himself. Maybe even throw in some masculine meows if he wishes 'cause I will probably always refer to him as a he.

Hum Feline. Your acting just like a cat - nowhere to be seen. (Or) Tooooooo much sleeping! Well, maybe I'm being too harsh, perhaps your dreaming - gimp, ideas, chocolate.....?

I didn't expect what I wrote to be understood, so I am not surprised of what you wrote Peff . Take care

/me wonders why dragons like hanging from the ceiling

adni18, what you said make lots of sence, except for the bit about liking the beetles. i prefer classical music personally.

as for being right, all of my observations are true, for a given value of true (just love that logic)

starone, this presumably means that the whole object bar thread was conducted in public!

Michael Hather - You keep refering to feline as 'he'. I thought feline was sometimes she, sometimes he, somtimes neither? Or maybe you know something we don't.

/me is sure starone knows things the rest of us dont

as for 'I', if work are to be beleived i am a reptilian alien from another dimension, and simultaniously the pure embodiment of all evil. apparantly i cannot spell english that well either.

but then, these are the same people who have been known to screem and then either hide under their desks or run away when a strange woman enters the room, so i am not sure they are qualified to judge

is it just me, or am i even more spaced out and surreal than normal at the moment? i think i am, but given my state i am not sure that my judgement is accurate.

/me watches the swaying monitor for a few moments with mild interest

i am normally content to simply be 'me'. after all, if you can be yourself, then what more is there to acheive? and what possible label can sum up the totality of wonderousness that is you, or I?

WOW - Feline finally showed up after a week's nap. That beauty sleep must have been something.

Feline. Those hallucinogenics seem to have got you by the tail! If you are content with being you, then that is fine by the rest of us.

If you work in IT being seen as a reptilian alien from another dimension is not unusual. I get that all the time. Mostly a shake of the head in disbelief at my 'out there' solutions to problems and my unconventional view of the world .

Strange woman? They are all strange mate, I know this.

How surreal something look depends in which part of the universe you are standing at the time...
