Honestly, I would go to IRC for this kind of stuff, but if any of you have been there recently, everyone seems to be...inactive. Sooooooooo, out of boredom, I'm turning a thread among this msgboard into a chat room, anyone care to join? =P.

It's Sunday night, and I'm bored out of my mind. There's much to do, but I'm too lazy to get around to do it. My boyfriend is busying trying to get Visual Studios to work so I can't talk to him on the phone....and we can't seem to talk over the phone anyways...it'll just be silence mostly.

New Semester started........so anyone alive out there to join Elffie in this chat marathon? =P

Let's try not to let this post hang for over 2 hours, hm? =P

I typically work from 6:30am to 4pm EST. Stardock is pretty flexible on times, so I don't really have a set start and end time. I try to be in before 8:30 am, then work 8+ hours. Work? I guess that's what you call it

It's a pretty fun place to "work" so it doesn't seem much like work.

Retired? I'm only 30.....got at least 29 1/2 years to go! (hopefully I'll have my house paid off by then.....)

I hope you have that house paid for too. Unless you took out a 50 year loan, it should be. I guess it would be nice to have access to a computer all day but not in my job. I can retire in 2 years at a drastically reduced benifit, but I will anyway unless something negitive comes up.

as for when, i have got so bad at mornings my hours have been shifted to 10am to 6pm

however when everything blows up i can end up being here till 10pm *sigh*

One of those kind of jobs. I had one about12 years ago. On salary and they used the heck out of ya. Plus a $50 weekend on call pay. Zero hours to 48 hours it was $50. But it was easier on the body than the one I have now, but no retirement.

Mmmm, that was the case here till this week. We could start anywhere between 7:30 and 9:00GMT finish 16:00 and 17:30 providing you worked all your hours. We are now fixed 8:00 to 17:00 Mon-Thu and 8:00 to 13:30 Fri. A bit restrictive but I like the idea of having Friday afternoon off. Oh, and we will have to use a clocking system - that must be a first for staff. Regrettably some sales staff almost never work their full hours. We know who they are but we have to pay for it too >

I start classes towards my Bachelor degree in Business today. I am taking Business Law and Business Communincations. The second one is online and requires video tapes of presentations to be sent to the instructor. Sounds like a good excuse to by a new video camera
