Msgboard Chatroom Marathon

Honestly, I would go to IRC for this kind of stuff, but if any of you have been there recently, everyone seems to be...inactive. Sooooooooo, out of boredom, I'm turning a thread among this msgboard into a chat room, anyone care to join? =P.

It's Sunday night, and I'm bored out of my mind. There's much to do, but I'm too lazy to get around to do it. My boyfriend is busying trying to get Visual Studios to work so I can't talk to him on the phone....and we can't seem to talk over the phone anyways...it'll just be silence mostly.

New Semester started........so anyone alive out there to join Elffie in this chat marathon? =P

Let's try not to let this post hang for over 2 hours, hm? =P

hmmm.... a side note, of interest, possibly, to only me...

in SB the sender name is at the top left, using IE, the sender name is on the bottom right.

/me wonders if this thread isn't just a whole collection of side notes.

werewolf - in SB the sender name is at the top left, using IE, the sender name is on the bottom right.

i have also noticed this, which makes the display in SB seem really strange, since i normally use IE, since it is a better size on the screen for my needs.

something else that may or may not have happened...
the very first line of my sb marathon chat is from feline:

feline *wants to play*

I thought for sure that I replied to that by dangling a fuzzy ball soaked in catnip either 1 or 2 posts later, to which feline responded, but those messages aren't showing. hmmm

I was almost into this thread an hour ago - then WinXP decided it was its regular crash time. First was 'ie encountered a problem and needs to close blah blah', then same for cursorXP, which as it leaves you with no mouse means reboot. Then cursorXP did it again, another reboot. I decided this was caused by yesterdays upgrade to logitech mouseware 6.91, so I uninstalled that in safe mode - another two reboots. My MY, we're working again. Read the bit about skinbrowser working again, so, as this was a clean install last week and SB wasn't installed yet... Ah well, I opened Outlook to get my reg, and, 'Outlook encountered a problem with blah blah, you need to use inbox repair tool'. So I decided to import the .pst back up I took yesterday...nothing in it since January - where's that gone? Who knows. Fortunately I have installed 'Drive Image' and have to full back-ups of my drive, so I copies my Outlook database from there.

So that's it. It's now working again. But in the mean time I've totally lost track of waht's going on in this thread (as well as loosing even more hair).

Thanks WinXP - you are *&%$*£%* useless.

/me is very bad tempered now...

Doreen: saywhat? me has no clue what is going on in here anymore cept you'd have a hard time trying to fit me into any catagory for experiements, so don't waste your time

Methinks we need to find out if you're furry or not...that's not a waste of time

It's "Doreen" not "Furry Doreen." We need an experiment?
Furryness is an important issue, It defines who we are.

/me considers experiments for others while his dark side is still strong...

I'm not very furry....actually I've been bald a couple times...so definitely not furry....

Quit doing experiments on Doreen! She'll run away to wherever Elf and Crae are.

Well, just got turned down for job #36. It just doesn't get any better than this

I'm going to answer one of those spams for work at home computer jobs

I'm never able to keep track of Elfy, but Crae's hiding over on LOS again. Or at least that's the most recent posting I've seen from him; I'm too busy to keep track of this stuff with any degree of accuracy these days!

/me is quasi-furry these days, as he recently grew back his goatee

Sorry 'bout the job problems werewolf ... how long you been looking?
Glen: ~3 months

I've been trying really hard to get a job around the area in which I live. Am really very tired of the 2+ hours of commute time to Dallas. I just need to be around my kids more than I was. May be time to give up that little dream

Ugh, 3 months.. that's no picnic. Last out-of-work stint I had was about that long, but the economy was much better then.

Well, if it means anything (which I know it doesn't, but still), you seem pretty intelligent to me; I'd hire ya!

Then again, you probably wouldn't like the commute to Philadelphia....

JavaBrain - I'm not very furry....actually I've been bald a couple times...so definitely not furry....

going bold doesnt sound like that much fun

JavaBrain - Quit doing experiments on Doreen! She'll run away to wherever Elf and Crae are.

but but, we havent even started yet!
anyway, the question of interest is, if someone who isnt fuzzy is only wearing an ankle length furr coat, does this make them fuzzy?

its hardly a nasty or scary experiment, honest.
however, if there is any chance of it scaring Doreen away, we will have to think of something else to while away the hours.

this opinion of a football team is brought to you by a fan of one of the greatest 4th quarter choke teams in the NFL.

sport *snort*

i have never really seen the point in watching a load of men in shorts run around a field chaising a ball.

but then, american football isnt quite the same i suppose. but from the little i have seen it doesnt seem all that much more interesting.
