Msgboard Chatroom Marathon

Honestly, I would go to IRC for this kind of stuff, but if any of you have been there recently, everyone seems to be...inactive. Sooooooooo, out of boredom, I'm turning a thread among this msgboard into a chat room, anyone care to join? =P.

It's Sunday night, and I'm bored out of my mind. There's much to do, but I'm too lazy to get around to do it. My boyfriend is busying trying to get Visual Studios to work so I can't talk to him on the phone....and we can't seem to talk over the phone anyways...it'll just be silence mostly.

New Semester started........so anyone alive out there to join Elffie in this chat marathon? =P

Let's try not to let this post hang for over 2 hours, hm? =P

good news...they gave me a brace.  It helps me walk.  I could go everywhere and leave my cane at home.  At nigh my knee hurts but nothing like before.  I didn't have to take so much pain stuff and I could sleep.  I felt normal almost.

then they called the next day and wanted it back.  I told them i would bring it, but I kept 'forgetting'.  I just wanted to see if it works as good as I think it does... it does.

So what to do, what to do.  It felt good to get back out.  I walked and walked and even climbed rocks on the beach to check to see if it was working as good as i think it does.  It does.

So I guess this next week will be filled with fighting with insurance.  It's an expensive brace, but only half as expensive as one shot they want to put in my knee costs.  Or a knee replacement.

GM walks off puzzling over what it is fuzzy is up to now....

Battle of the brace update.  I have called in reinforcements.  My doctor and her staff are now working with me to get the brace billing lady to loosen her grip on the insurance claim.  We all know that there is an excellent chance I will get the brace on first review with the insurance company.  I am feeling better.  I can sleep.  I can take less medication.  I don't need exotic, expensive treatments and certainly not a knee replacement.  And anyway, once I get a rejection notice I can go to work appealing it.  But I got to pry loose that first insurance claim out of the billing lady's grip.  she wants me to bring the brace back.  but if i do she won't be billing for it... and i will be back in pain, doped up and not going anywhere.

right now I am doing the only thing I can do... I'm going to the beach to avoid the calls.

I got life to tend to while I can.  Especially if someone's going to take it all away from me soon.

Hang in there, GM! What can they do? Come pry it off your leg? You could always be called away for a couple of weeks... (ie, take a trip or go visiting)

Sounds like a plan to me!

hehe... yeah aimzzz.  They will have to pry this brace off my cold dead knee!

Thanks KG!  So far it's working.  Leave with the first call, come back late.  I'm just waiting for a result from an insurance claim... if that person actually submitted one.

Some people learn rules and apply thought to their work keeping theory and desired result and alternatives in mind to achieve a desired outcome.  Some people learn rules and substitute them for thought thereby abdicating personal authority.  These are dangerous people.

Plan for today... there is a huge, 'record breaking' jellyfish invasion in Waikiki.  I'll take my camera there in a bit.

I never saw any jellyfish.  Someone told me you have to get there early.  I haven't seen the early side of a day for years....

Ugly? Poor little mite. What a thing to say. That cat needs a little love and attention, you'll have to give a tummy rub.

Fuzzy rolls over in anticipation...

awwwwwwww

I like those kinds of kitties.  It may not win a lot of beauty contests, but they are very mellow seeming.  They capture the atmosphere of sun, filtered through close knit branches leaving dappled shade/sunspots.  My very favorite kind of place...

I wish i could have kitties or something snuggleable.   Fishies just don't fill that bill too well.

I reckon T-man really should have given fuzzy his tummy rub since he was all ready for one.
