werewolf she is on a plastic wheel! hehe
(tried to oil it where it spins but to no avail, it rattles, wiggles and squeeks still)

either that or she is the hamster from Hell cuz everyone that goes oh how cute! and tries to pick her up gets bitten hard! hehe

mean tiny little thing she is but very cute I'm keeping her (I think they only live for 2-3 years) so it's not too long a sentence for me and my kids (my kids wear gloves when they pick her up) haha

Doreen: I used graphite powder on the axle to quite the plastic wheel. Won't help the rattles though.

Vampire hamsters I raised mine almost from birth and hand fed them quite a bit. Made sure they knew the difference between the scent of food and the scent of a werewolf who likes little puffs of fur for snacks

well "minne me" is not even enough for a snack! she is a dwarf polar bear (Itsy Bitsy thing) seriously as big as a pigeon egg!
but her teeth are bigger then her!
they also had a dwarf Albino but those red eyes, nah hehe

My hamster is pretty tame. She nibbled on my daughter once, but has never broken the skin on anyone. Her new trick is to climb up her water bottle and jump to the wheel (which then flings her off as it turns). Pretty funny to watch!

well figures I would be the only one here w/ a Vampire Hamster from Hell... hehe
I don't know how to get her to stop biting everyone, I have no problem w/ her but I handle her differently maybe the kids get nervous and she feels it or something?

Doreen... I don't know specifically about your breed of hamster, but I think that most of them have to start being handled while they are very young to get used to it. If you've done that, well then...does it seem to get a bit furrier and longer teeth during full moons?

Personally, I think it's T-Man's fault that JavaKarma gets blamed for everything. Though I'm beginning to suspect that she may be responsible for everything. Just as I'm sure she's beginning to suspect I'm responsible for half her problems lately

I am not supposed to say that, but I am using an internal build of the SkinBrowser and it is looking great. It has amongst other things much better navigation. It's great. Bagginz did a good job on this one.

Okay, I'm back for a moment to post this little post and to catch up on the reading for the tread. This is starting to get unbelievably long, and maybe one day, someone'll post this entire thread on some odd site just for crazy reading.

BTW, when did the topic of this thread change? It got longer... MUCH longer.

It's rainning outside today, and I've got a bit more work to get to before days out, so can't hang around for long. However, it is in the middle of summer, all of you are probably dreaming of beaches, shade, and lots of sunshine for a wonderful tan come Fall
