Honestly, I would go to IRC for this kind of stuff, but if any of you have been there recently, everyone seems to be...inactive. Sooooooooo, out of boredom, I'm turning a thread among this msgboard into a chat room, anyone care to join? =P.

It's Sunday night, and I'm bored out of my mind. There's much to do, but I'm too lazy to get around to do it. My boyfriend is busying trying to get Visual Studios to work so I can't talk to him on the phone....and we can't seem to talk over the phone anyways...it'll just be silence mostly.

New Semester started........so anyone alive out there to join Elffie in this chat marathon? =P

yep, hamsters are like that. when they are awake, the amount of effort they put into running in a sqeaky wheel is amazing.

does your hamster have one of those cages with a wire roof? if so, has you hamster started "walking" across the underside of the roof yet?

one of my hamsters used to hang from the middle of the roof, and leaver open the door, and then run around the room till we fed her

mine I named "mini me" (cuz of the spy who shagged me flick) she's snow white tiny as a pigeon egg but mean as a bear!

my boys had two white mice one named "stuart" and one named "little" (yup stuart lil flick) but they could not take the noice from the wheels so they wanted me to bring them back, (we just brought them back to the shop recently)

but I cannot give mine back to the shop cuz I'm attached to her already even though she is a pain!

I better stop playing around and get busy bye Java! I mean Karma

You think hamsters with squeaky wheels are bad? At least you can take the wheel away. Try a squeaky cat. It'd be cruel to take his vocal chords away.

it is that thing sitting next to me at work that is abnormal!

i have just been accused of breast feading my rolled up body warmer through my t-shirt. there arent any holes in my t-shirt i could be doing this through and my rolled up body warmer isnt even alive.

shortly after this, it was suggested i had in fact given birth to my body warmer

this thread is in fact a haven of normality and sanity in a bizzare and insane world.

time to start a partition for a proper title!

Feline & Doreen...

I had a breeding pair of Siberian Dwarf Hamsters for a while. Solved the squeeky wheel thing by getting a plastic wheel. Sweet bliss of a good nights sleep. A few days later, the little hair balls had chewed the thing all up Back the the metal wheel, with a can of silicon sitting beside it.

yep, i used to use tissue boxes as hampster beds.

the hampsters used to like them, nice and private for a couple of weeks, until they had chewed them all away. but by then there was normally another box ready for them.

only tried the plastic houses once. it didnt last much longer than the cardboard ones, but was a lot more expensive.

with the metal wheels, did your hamsters used to put their heads out one side while running? all of mine did. i always wondered how they didnt clonk them selves on the side support spokes as they came round at great speed. however, hammy always seemed to avoid them. hours of fun watching that
