Honestly, I would go to IRC for this kind of stuff, but if any of you have been there recently, everyone seems to be...inactive. Sooooooooo, out of boredom, I'm turning a thread among this msgboard into a chat room, anyone care to join? =P.

It's Sunday night, and I'm bored out of my mind. There's much to do, but I'm too lazy to get around to do it. My boyfriend is busying trying to get Visual Studios to work so I can't talk to him on the phone....and we can't seem to talk over the phone anyways...it'll just be silence mostly.

New Semester started........so anyone alive out there to join Elffie in this chat marathon? =P

Let's try not to let this post hang for over 2 hours, hm? =P

I want to apologize for taking this thread off-topic with my posts #10857 to #10862. I have not read all 10800+ posts and did not understand what this thread was about until I read GM's post above.

Hey there essencay... welcome to planet chocolat! As you noted, there is a tradition, but all people are welcome to join in. After all, how do you make new friends, other than by joining in? It just takes some time to get acclimated and we know that. The only way you will be able to do that, really, is by being here and participating as you have done. It takes some time to blend in, usually we do a little blending of our own, too. As when Old Crab moved in with his tree.

er... sorry about mangling your name, I don't know how to make the symbol. You seem to be a very fluent and good writer. You are welcome to be here.

Ah well, things are really mild here as compared before. I was just responding to the idea that was tossed out that the marathon thread is a 'playpen' thread and so deserves whatever. We don't expect that everyone will read every word, but there is a lot of good stuff back there. Feline has crafted a lot of unique aspects into the planet and lots of us use it as a place of friendship, moral support, play. The thread has been going more than one year and there are a lot of memories. But don't let that worry you. It's easy for nice people to fit in.
