Installing a blind - can I have some help please??? also a question about the size of icons ...

Hey!

I have just downloaded desktop x public and it gives me an error message " that the exe files is not a valid Win32 application ". Any idea what I need to do?

Also have downloaded a skin and I can only run and install it using desktop x right?

I can't just click it and it will run by itself?

And how do I make my icons on my desktop big. I have only seen two options so far and so far they are on the biggest option, but still small compared to some desktop icons on this site. Is there a program or something?

Best wishes, Chrono.

1) Odd...I would try uninstall and re-installing it.

2) If it is a DesktopX skin, you need to use the DesktopX program to run it.

3) Not unless it is a widget. Widgets will run without DesktopX loaded (but it has to be installed)

4) Use IconX to get the large icons on your desktop.

IconX is a part of the Object Desktop suite or can be bought as a standalone version. It is also awailable as a shareware-version (https://www.stardock.com/products/iconx/download.asp).

Thanks. Can anyone link me to some real basic windowblinds? I'm especially looking for a basic normal windows XP blind with a chrome red colour change?

Best wishes.
