Right click problem, Read this post to understand

I download ObjectDesktop and everything else, and it was working great and it still is apart from when I open my c drive and right click on a program, it does the same with my pictures, basically all my system folders,when I right click my computer freezes and stops responding, I have to bring up the task manager to end the program, I have no problems right clicking on any pages on the internet, can some1 tell me how to fix the problem, if it's possible. I have to unload windowblinds so that I can right click. Thanx in advance

I'm thinking that you may have a problem with a "shell extension", something that plugs into explorer to add features to it - and sometimes, hidden bugs. First, check for spyware, then try using this tool to try disabling non-microsoft extensions: LINK

Thanx for the reply, I tried uninstalling windows service pack 2 and it worked great, I had been reading up on sp2 and realised that there was alot of complaints about it, so I just reinstalled it, it's not worth the hassel.

Thanx for the reply, I tried uninstalling windows service pack 2 and it worked great, I had been reading up on sp2 and realised that there was alot of complaints about it, so I just uninstalled it, it's not worth the hassel.
