Problem applying windowblinds with the Wincustomize browser

Just bought 2 yr wincustomize subscription with the browser, but when I try to apply the windowblinds themes I download, it says it can not find Windowblinds, and it doesn't download/install it. Windowblinds is not a registered copy. Iconpackager seems to work ok.

Also, how do I get the premium themes, like Doppler?

Thanks!

What happens when you download using your web browser? Not the wc browser.

For the premium skins go to Subscriber resources on the left of the page. Over here somewhere.

Doppler is not one of the skins available but the 2 that are available are very nice also.

I haven't tried downloading it from a browser yet, but that kind of defeats the purpose of buying the skin browser in the first place. I am running W2K, would that make a difference?

Thanks for the help on the premium suites. I take it the other suites have to be purchased separately?

The exact messages I get:

SkinBrowser has detected you do not have WindowBlinds installed on your computer. Would you like to download it and install it now?

When I click yes I get a DOS prompt window flash, and the the error: WindowBlinds could not be found on your pc. Please ensure the app is installed and the required files exist.

Seems to work on WinXP ok, just not W2K. Any help is greatly appreciated.

try uninstalling windowblinds, and then reinstalling in the default directory that it gives you during setup

I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling several times, it doesn't matter if the program is installed or not, when the browswer prompts to download it, it errors out.

It also gives the same errors in Theme Manager when I try to apply suite files.

I'm getting this same problem using the WinCustomize Browser and ObjectDock (which I bought today! Yipee!).

What's the deal?

I even went so far as to re-install ObjectDock using Stardock Central.

Sounds like a WinCustomize Browser issue. Extremely lame for the same reason leake79 pointed out: if the WinCustomize browser can't do what it says it does (or doesn't do anything better than just visiting the WinCustomize site), why did I pay for it?

Well, I've tried Stardock support, all they told me to do was to uninstall/reinstall WindowBlinds which was what I told them I did in the original email. Anybody else have any ideas? Doesn't sound like stardock will help me out, and it appears to be a software problem. Maybe there will be a new release soon?

Any help is greatly appreciated.
