gender

gender

It seems that there is a certain amount of confusion about the gender of my mind.

It seems from what people are saying that my mind appears to sit somewhere between male and female genders.

This seems quite normal to me, but seems to be generating un-necessary confusion. So lets turn the question on its head. According to certain philosophical thinkers (that would be me ) my current body is only a transitory collection of molecules (which most here are unlikely to ever meet), while my mind has and will exist across many many bodies. So if for the sake of postings on this board my body is ignored, what is my gender, and does it matter?

I suspect the only reason it matters is that people react differently to me if I am perceived as male or female. But surely I am just me? A lot of people who have met me would agree that “me” is sufficient definition

So I am curious, why do people think that I am the gender that they think I am, does it matter to them, and if so why?

/me decides this is all far to serious, so time to change tack

if the majority conclude my mind is primarily female, is it ethically acceptable for me to use my long lashes and preoccupying cleavage to get chocolate out of men?

ps for the sake of Jafo, I have made an exception and put this though Word, so any remaining spelling issues should be referred to Microsoft

HeyYou - maybe i am weird, but that is the only reason i find it interesting to see people's gender.

/me compares HeyYou to feline molicule by molicule

well, you are nothing like me, so i would say that that is prity conclusive proof that you are wierd

Doreen - feline you "always confused me" but atleast I now know your male that is one less thing you can confuse me over... hehe

are you sure?

Doreen - I was just curious after I seen some strange remarks you directed to me

Doreen - however you happen to be one of those rare ppl that I cannot read at all... hehehe

flatterer
anyway, its fairly easy actually. you just have to work out which one of me was behind a particular statement. was it me (feline), the dark me (dracoform) or was it glandular inspired?

Doreen - in real life there's usually some hidden agenda w/ the ppl you meet up front
specially if you're female...

all these men chaising you for your mind alone, you have my sympaties

Bottomline:

feline is a mental case.
MobiusCo is a mental case.
Elfkura is a mental case.

Welcome to the club.

/me *raspberry*
i am totally normal, i know this since i have a bit of paper that says so!
its got to be official since it is written in pink hightlighter, so there

Elfkura seems fairly normal as far as i can tell.

its a little early to tell about MobiusCo, but you seem to be leaping to conclusions here

I haven't read all the posts, but I know what this cat is-
He's a he. In his bio, his name is Colin (I don't know any females who are named Colin). Also, you really don't see many females online who aren't perfectly clear about what ther gender is. (Unless we're talking about Elf... but that's a different case).

And, as far as I know, "gender" *does* refer to your physical being, not your mind (though, you can change that, if you want, with a little surgical help. )

Anyway, Feline, does it really matter if you are male or female? It doesn't matter at all to me, as long as you are being really you.

Just look at Kenray's picture of himself and himself. He looks better in a skirt than most women I know. So who cares what gender he is, as long as he is being himself. (If women can dress in pants and button down shirts, why can't men dress in skirts?)

Of course, Feline, like most people, I try to get a mental picture of people who I talk to online. So, I just visualize you as a man dressed up like cat woman...

Either way- I'll still share my chocolate with you....

"(If women can dress in pants and button down shirts, why can't men dress in skirts?)"

My hairy legs would do more harm than good if unleashed upon the public accompanied by a skirt

I think Feline is a Hermaphrodite.
or a hermit crab
or a hermans hermit
or a kermit the herman
or a herman munster
or a erm.... I give up!
Maybe you could post a picture of your genitalia, I guess THAT would solve the problem!

Changing the topic slightly...

Ever heard of the kinsey scale?

1..2..3..4..5

Where 1 is completely heterosexual and 5 is homosexual (5 is bisexual).

I've had friends of every category over the years though I'm personally a 1. Where would you rate yourselves?
er 3 is bisexual.
Something left of '1'...

Make no mistake people!!!
1

that would be ONE

....i have one or two gay friends (that would say FRIENDS), and i have to say that there have been a few people that have thought i was gay, simply for just being a nice person???....i hate that!!! (not that I have 'anything against gay people)
/me [puts his brain back in for saying all that]

Someone asked me the other day if I had ever slept with a gay man. I said,"no, but I've slept with a man who has!"
He then asked: Do you smoke after sex?
I replied "I don't know, I've never looked."
In case you are wondering, on the above scale, I am a -1.
There's not a gay bone in my body,(except for my very limp wrist.)lol.
