RECENTLY I UPGATE VIDEO DIVER

Please don't type in all caps, it's rude. Sounds like your updated drivers may be the problem. Have you tried rolling back to the previous version? Also you didn't say what version of WindowBlinds, what video card, and what OS you're using. These could all be clues as to what is happening.

64 MB VIDEO RAM ATI7500

He has the same video card I do.....what version drivers are you using, I am using
CATALYST Version 03.9
2D Version 6.14.10.6396
Package Version 7.95-031028m-011774C

and everything works beautifully

You should not have to upgrade from this version....unless there is a specific issue that the updated driver fixes related to your computer and software, if not, you should roll back to the last good driver you used. Unlike Microsoft Security Updates...you don't have to go willy-nilly with updating this video card. If it works don't mess with it Other things to check....your resolution, is it set for 85 Hertz...if your monitor can handle that? Did you uninstall the old driver before installing the new driver....worst yet did you get the driver from ATi or from Microsoft update? Never use the MS update version of this driver with this card....things get wonky....at least they did for me.

Microsoft offers a totally different driver. You can't just update your current driver. You must uninstall your previous driver. Microsoft video drivers are MWD drviers. They will conflict with your current driver and I prefer the driver made by the manufacturer anyway. I installed the recommended microsoft MWD drivers(audio and video) and my whole OS crashed. So, you can probably count yourself lucky.

Thanks guys honously speaking I was not expecting to get so friendly responses from all of you. Let me provide more info and may be helps to your help.
I have Presario Notebook 2.2 GHz ATI 7500 64 MB video ram Windows XP HOME operating system and using Win Blinds 4.3 version. Recently I upgraded my video driver from ver. 7.96 to ver. 8.003.3-040515a-016016C and these drivers were downloaded from official web page of Compaq Presario and only the reason because of numbers of fixes and enchantments are now available on ver . 8.003.3-040515a-016016C however this latest ver is simply messed up my Win Blinds. If I roll back to driver to ver 7.96 everything goes back to normal .So I guess either I have to use old ver video driver or new version but give up the win blind . Do Anyone of you think can be a better solution ?

Your best bet is to go to the newsgroup, and report the problem there. news.stardock.com > subscribe to the windowblinds newsgroup.  List all your info there, and someone may have a fix, or quite possibly the developers will fix it in the next version of WB. For now I would stick the video driver that works with WB, but that a personal decision......... I couldn't stand to look at my computer without WB running.

You can try uninstalling the old driver first, or visit the card manufacturer for driver updates. I prefer the card manufacturer. Most importantly, make sure you follow the instructions for installing the new driver and make sure you install the proper drivers for your card.

Or you can follow these wise words"If it ain't broke why fix it?"

Faster, new funcionality. Like, last time I updated mine, it supported all of my video cards 256mb ram. Before it only supported 128mb of it. It is loads faster now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How can you have a card that doesn't support the memory it came with when you brought it? It sounds like it was broke to me.

Yep Halluci, that would explain it. I just updated my ATI drivers yesterday. No problems at all using the ATI website. Read the instructions though, they will tell you to uninstall the old driver first.

Make sure you install the proper driver this time. Although, the last mess up may not have been your fault.
